Awesome show!

Just caught the first 2 episodes and I love it!

Yes, the show is great so far. There are many haters around. Maybe they were paid by AMC, I don't know. So much hate without any reason. I also hope TNT will continue the series.

I'm also surprised as to how many unsatisfied viewers there are. I'd told my friend(who's very busy) to Dvr it and watch it when he could. After finally talking him into it, he watched it. Then I read all the bad feedback and was hoping he wouldn't be disappointed. Luckily he enjoyed it too.

I'm going to start advertising it a lot on facebook and recommending a lot more to others though. I really want this show to stick around.

Agree, I'm onboard. Hope it's picked up. Like the film noir vibe & jazz background. Like how they've picked up some guest actors that are a surprise to see in something like this, such as Simon Pegg.

Ooooo you had me at Simon Pegg - definitely going to give it a go :)

This was a pleasant surprise for me, too.

I certainly didn't have any expectations.

Very surprised at all the negative reviews and the comments comparing to Boardwalk Empire with the ratings not being that Great and the word of mouth it probably will just be the 6 episodes which is very disappointing. I already can't wait for Wednesday I really enjoyed the first 2 episodes pretty much exactly what I thought it would be.

Love LA Confidential, so far the sets, cars, props & cinematography execellent, cast adequate needs a little more passion but love Alexas.

I like it too -- has a great noir feel. The characters are all sorts of shades of grey. In my opinion it went up hill after the 1920s machine gun scene. Your plan is to have a woman walk by with a stroller loaded with machine guns that you snatch up while playing violins with armed guys covering you -- right! Also, those Tommy guns did not have the suppressors on the ends of the barrels yet they kept their fire level. The original Tommys had such a recoil the barrel lifted as you shot. The first gangster to be shot by a Tommy actually survived. Recoil caused almost all the bullets to hit above the intended target.
