Storage locker show reference
They inferred that shows like Storage Wars were set up for effect. I agree with them. But those shows are no more set up than Comic Book Men is.

The items coming into the Stash, on this show anyways, are supremely setup. Heck, I'm guessing Mr. Batcave brought in his own Hot Toys figure to pretend to buy it so the show could come to his house.
In regard to Storage Wars, there's no doubt it's setup, but it's a little bit more believable that they are finding treasure as opposed to people being set up to bring in treasure.

I'll go one step further and say that the producers knew he had a batcave when they set up his appearance, and told Walt to knock off a few bucks so they could go film it.
The producers are spending too much money to take chances.
A lot of people in IMDb figured out that the Storage shows were fake before Dave Hester...a regular on Storage Wars outed the show as being fake.
Some board members had relatives in the storage business and the producers of the show would come in and add the "sweet item" to the locker. Most times the "expert" is the owner of the item too!!!
