DC Bias

I think in the past on this board I've commented that the show appeared to be fairly mixed between representing DC and Marvel, though the hat was tipped to DC. Last night's episode featured a store entirely full of DC comics. All art on the wall, names, and issues shown in focus were DC properties.

I'm thinking season 3 is taking a kickback from Warner Bros.

the thing is, they need permission to show certain items. This can be anything from a soda to a comic book. I know they have to chose their scenes based on the background to make sure nothing is seen that they have not gotten permission to show on camera.
They talk about this on an episode of TESD.

As we grow we learn, i have learned that if you don't like me grow up or ignore me.

And if so, thats not entirely a bad thing considering Marvel/Di$ney is all over the place currently. DC/Warner could use all the attention they can get.

Good eye, but it's more likely that Disney owned Marvel won't allow Marvel characters as set decoration on competing networks. To show licensed characters on TV, the owners of the characters have to sign off.

Nope, Marvel wanted to charge them for the promo materials and DC just sent theirs. From a business standpoint, which would you choose?

AMC is owned by AMC Networks, not Time Warner.
