OT: Fatman on Batman

I've been listening to the Fatman on Batman podcast for quite awhile now, and I enjoy it. But one thing has been kind of a pet peeve for me in its current format, getting on my nerves:

Kevin Smith keeps directing the camera - "Go to a two shot", "Go to a single", "He's making a good point, go to a four shot". Yeah, yeah, Kevin we get it, you're a director. Can't they come up with some buttons for him to push so he can do this stuff more inconspicuously? Every time he does it I get the feeling he's trying to remind us all that he is a director. It also detracts and distracts from the subject manner. It takes me out of the moment, as they say.

Also, I thought I would mention that on SNL Saturday, Bobby Moynihan portrayed Kevin Smith on one of SNL's game show sketches, complete with Fatman hockey jersey, and he even mentioned the Fatman on Batman podcast. Which I thought was pretty mainstream for such a niche thing.

The worst thing about the podcast is when Mark Bernardan tries to be funny, but he isn't. He should stick to providing Insider knowledge instead of trying to match Kevin with the schtick
