Was this cancelled or something?
2 weeks of double episodes, one more episode, then nothing for 2 weeks. Is AMC phasing this out? It feels like they've just dropped it cold

There are no new episodes until next year, in February.
I don't know if AMC is phasing the show out, but they definitely aren't worried about it losing its audience. I think the writing is on the wall...
I'm hoping it'll come back with The Walking Dead in February. Maybe by then Into the Badlands will have its training wheels off and will either go on another night, go on hiatus itself, or be cancelled... not that I'm wishing for it to be cancelled -- the storyline's pitiful, but the fights are okay, albeit ridiculous. Anyway, hopefully AMC is seeing Comic Book Men as a remora that trails the big Walking Dead shark, and will bring it back when Walking Dead returns.
sharezwolf -- agree with everything. Critics have said the same things about "Badlands". I'm watching it, but can't explain why.

We as a viewing public we can only hope! :) I know a man through friends in his 50s that collects comic books and his big event on a regular basis is taking his sons to comic book conventions. Sad.
I haven't opened or read a comic book since I was 12...then I got a life and I haven't needed them in any shape or form since...I suggest adults who collect and "get off" reading comic books grow up and join society.
ddd -- that's unnecessarily harsh. Some people collect stamps, some people collect butterflies, some people collect comic books.

you know what 12 year olds do in 2016 instead of reading comics? They comment on message boards believing their opinion means squat. Congrats on growing up and earning your anti-comic book big boy pants.
And a man spending time with his sons and creating memories? How awful. If you had to pick one, do you think you're more lonely or angry? Either way, you're an a&$sh0l3. Don't doubt that for even a second. Just because people don't tell you, doesn't mean they're not thinking it. Trust me, they are.

OP -- bottom line is: CBM is chained to TWD. When TWD is on, CBM is on. When off, it's off.
I wouldn't mind if CBM stood on its own. As a collector, the show appeals to me.
