The end. SPOILER ALERT. Question
So near the end, the one guy gets shot in the chest. Literally in the middle of his heart. Yet he lives?
shareSo near the end, the one guy gets shot in the chest. Literally in the middle of his heart. Yet he lives?
shareNo I think he gets shot over the left lung actually, which sucks I'm sure but survivable.
shareI have to agree. Many of the characters stated, like Kurt, he got hit in "square of the effen chest..." But Dale is a main character so he is not going to die. And they made Dale get shot so there was a diversion and the police were able to handcuff Rex.
share> Many of the characters stated, like Kurt, he got hit in "square of the effen chest..."
Yet, those characters are not doctors and they are not giving us an exact diagnosis. To a layman, getting hit anywhere in the torso counts as "square in the chest."
> And they made Dale get shot so there was a diversion and the police were able to handcuff Rex.
In reality, no cop would have put down their gun and Rex would be riddled with bullets by the end. Even the detective told his men to shoot Rex.

thought it was funny as hell how they weren't sugar coating it and told him it was really bad, lots of blood, huge hole etc
shareSquare in the effin' chest. The heart is to the left. THere would be bronchial damage, but nothing cardial.

It is possible to get shot anywhere, almost and live.
Exception being parts of the brain, and heart. But there have been those shot through the heart who lived.
What I see as the key here is, Dale got help right away.
