2 hours of Charlie Day shouting
I imagine the director saying "You know that hysterical jabbering you did in the first movie? Just do WAY more of that"
Like nails on a chalkboard.

Agreed. It stops being funny when you want to hit him to make him submit and quit being stupid beyond the willing suspense of disbelief.
Mel Brooks Characters pay more attention to the severity of the plot in the story. Stupid stops being funny after a while; and that actor just tried to shout over every scene for some reason.
I am the equal and opposite reaction!
Ehh I found allb3 annoying in different ways. And I like all 3 outside of these movies. Bateman did the same schtick of playing the straight man and always knows the smart move while looking down at the others. Jason and Charlie have similar roles of being stupid and coming up with funny jokes when things go wrong. I'm a big fan of Charlie on Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia.. I can see why people who haven't watched him for almost 10 years now don't like him.. but his voice is not really a put on. I understand though.

There was so much more to this movie than Charlie Day's shouting.
Mag, Darling, you're being a bore.
