so much better than the EXTREMELY overrated Hangover Trilogy....

Yes, it will NEVER be as successful, but i love the Horrible Bosses films

I expected HB 2 to be pointless, and just for sequels' sake (like pretty much every American comedy) but i thoroughly enjoyed it, and laughed the whole 1hr and 48mins

Yes it is OTT, but realism is hardly something you would expect from a sequel to a film were a trio of friends plan to kill their respective bosses

As i said in the title, Hangover is so overrated, the first 1 was ok, nothing special (so hyped up) and the following two were TERRIBLE
plus i think the trio of HB are much better than the trio of Hangover (BIG Charlie Day & Jason Bateman fan thanks to AD & IASIP)

Hangover is basically the EXACT same story each time, they all have amnesia from a drug overdose. The 3rd movie mixed it up some but ultimately it ended up being an amnesia hangover.

But Horrible Bosses changes the dynamic, at least so far with only 2 movies. The first was them trying to kill their bosses but this one was them trying to deal with a very different situation. If this was like the Hangover movies they would all just have different terrible bosses and be plotting to kill them too.

maybe the 3rd horrible bosses will have yet another dynamic while the next Hangover will be just more drug induced amnesia?

Couldn't agree more, the second hangover ended pretty much the same as the first. really don't understand the popularity

I agree OP...never was a huge fan of The Hangover films...I like this series a bit better then 21/22 Jump street as well

but hey humour is subjective I guess...very few straight up comedies have high ratings on here.

Just like the Hangover 1 and 2, Horrible Bosses 1 and 2 ended the same way; the antagonist of the film ends up shooting and killing someone else who's bad towards the main characters but not as bad as him while the three protagonists go to jail with charges that are not very severe due to doing something good for the police.

However, I find the Horrible Bosses series to be a lot more comedic than the Hangover series; these guys are fed up with terrible people and bad manners while the guys in the Hangover movies are just being immature.

That's so true. I agree with your whole post.

Mag, Darling, you're being a bore.
