OK, but Anniston?

I give it 5 stars for inducing a few hardy laughs. It's true what so many other posters have said about the annoyance of Day's constant high-pitched yelling. Also a different actress, one with comedic acting skills and some sex-appeal (are such actresses so hard to find?) would have made it better. Of course this is just my opinion and I know there are a lot of people who like her, but having never watched "Friends" nor, in fact, any other of her movies (not a rom-com fan), she just strikes me as an aging cute white girl with no skills--anyway never made me laugh, which is mainly how I judge a performance in a comedy.

Good thing you're here! 

Yeah, spelling is not anything important hey. I'm so glad your response indicated that. I find it interesting that someone like you who has posted responses commenting on people's poor use of grammar/punctuation would then go on to patronise someone for correcting a spelling mistake. Do you usually contradict yourself like that?

reply

You forgot a buttload of commas.

I find it creepy that you clicked on my profile.

I would like to add "creepy" to my list of words that describe you.

You are now "creepy" and (sarcastically) "useful".

reply

Hahaha! Yeah ok, it's so creepy how we all have public profiles on IMDB so that the public can look at the comments we make so very public for everyone to read. So creepy.....but hey, if it helps your defence mechanism then go for it. I have no doubt you're contradicting yourself again as you look through my profile

You must be a little child. Let me guess, you're born here through illegal parents.

I'd have to say.... You got owned!!! Lol!

I don't love her.. She kicked me in the face!!

It's cool that people can come out so openly today. No need to beat around the bush. If you prefer guys, that's cool, but all of the gay men I know will tell you that Jennifer Aniston is hot. It's cool, it's not like admitting it means that you lose your membership card or anything.

reply

I am a female, not gay, and I did watch Friends (still watch re-runs occasionally), and thought Jennifer Aniston was funny in that show, and has honed her comedic side even more through the years. She also displayed an acclaimed dramatic side in Cake. Not only that, she is a beautiful woman, who looks much younger than she is, imho. Though I think her character in this movie was on-the-line of being too provocative, I believe she played the role fabulously.

reply

I think Jennifer Aniston is a good comic actress. The character of Julia the dentist is an utter slut, nutcase and skank, and JA plays her in such a matter-of-fact way, I have to laugh.

reply

why bring some new character when you have a character from the first movie that you are familiar with? it makes no sense

reply

What have you got against her? She's a beautiful and talented actress. 

Wow. I understand everyone has their own taste, but good lord, Jennifer Aniston is gorgeous. She is almost 50 and I think she is prettier now than ever before. She is still in amazing shape. I couldn't stand her on Friends because I got tired of everyone talking about which hair style she would have for the coming season. Her post-TV career has been rather entertaining. She was good in Derailed and Cake (dramas) and funny in The Millers and both Horrible Bosses movies. She's never going to ascend to the level of Melissa McCarthy or Kristen Wiig in terms of being funny, but she does well in the right roles.

My memory foam pillow says it can't remember my face. I can tell its lying.

She owned the hell out of this role. She's absolutely gorgeous and natural has a good girl vibe about her, which adds to the hilarity.
