Was I the only one expecting the trio to become horrible bosses?
Just seems like it would of put a more interesting spin on the story.

In away they did they hired the wrong people they made bad choices etc
"Some of the worst things imaginable have been done with the best intentions"
all the people that worked for them would have lost their jobs so they kind of did.
It would have wrecked the first film though because they'd all be hypocrites for being like that.
