He is like Seth Rogen, it means that he plays in good films but they keep on screaming with their annoying voice throughout 90 min non-stop. They keep on talking way too much in any situations.
It just hit my nerves after 20min.
for me it's such a shame, too, because (based on interviews i've seen) both Seth Rogen and Charlie Day are both very intelligent and quite humorous but for some reason they just don't shine on the big screen. i LOVE Sunny long time but he (Charlie Day) should try to broaden his potential cause his "nails on blackboard" voice is really not working for me either!

You're not alone. I despise Charlie Day almost as much as Seth Rogen. It's like their careers are the most elaborate episode of Punk'd ever created and there are people like us that are just not in on the prank.
shareAin't nothing wrong with Mr. Day. That's how his voice sounds. He's small and mousy. I think it works fine. But I'm a die hard sunny fan so I could be biased.
shareI'm not really into Seth Rogan, but I love Charlie! Always Sunny is one of my favorite shows of all time and Charlie is my favorite character. It's a damn shame that you guys can't appreciate the Day Man. He's the fighter of the Night Man, Champion of the Sun! He's a master of karate and friendship for everyone!

ya he was brutaly bad. they even borrowed the SUnny in Philidephia thing where they all talk and scream at once and its expected to be "funny" it was brutal... Charlie needs to stop acting..

shareHe doesn't get on my nerves and I do enjoy his screaming style . I agree that his style of acting can turn you of from every movie he is in. I have the same annoyance with Adam Sandler's and his annoying screaming style. I think I hit the nerve with Sandler after 20 seconds.
