Anyone who can't stand Charlie Day?

He is like Seth Rogen, it means that he plays in good films but they keep on screaming with their annoying voice throughout 90 min non-stop. They keep on talking way too much in any situations.

It just hit my nerves after 20min.

He does have that annoying Bobcat Goldthwait voice, but he's cute as hell. He should learn to modulate his voice, I agree.

I was thinking Bobcat right when I read the thread title: Well if you don't like Charlie, you wouldn't like Bobcat. He's a more cleancut, average Bobcat.

"if you don't like Charlie, you wouldn't like Bobcat" Bobcat Goldthwait is the genius who wrote and directed World's Greatest Dad in 2009. Maybe for his next career move, Day could mimic the older Goldthwait.

reply

Has the voice? He just DOES Bobcat Goldthwait and that's it. It's like Michael Richards doing Art Carney.

I've been trying to get through this movie but i can't last more than 15 minutes at a time. The most annoying voice to boot...Charlie Day. Not funny. Jennifer Aniston is useless. Can't believe this movie has an ok rating.
Haven't watched the whole thing yet, but i hope they all die in the end. That would make it worth while.

I used to find him annoying when I first started watching Always Sunny a few years back...but he quickly became one of my favorite comedians. His voice no longer bothers me at all and it's grew on me.

reply

I like him alot in Always Sunny. I don't find him annoying, I really like his crazy character. He's totally bonkers and that makes me laugh.

reply

I just started to watch Always Sunny and yeah its a good series, but the last episode Charlie Work, it also starring Charlie Day shouting non stop.

and its really bothering me same as with this movie, it's a good movie but i can't stand his shouting voice, he shouldn't allowed to shout anymore lol

by the way this one is better than the first one, the supporting roles really help make the movie better (Kevin Spacey, Jamie Fox, Chris Pine, Christoph Waltz)

reply

He will never become a real leading man, but I like him. David Spade is a little turd.

Thank you so much - completely agree! He is my equivalent to blackboard scraping - painful to watch and listen to from the first moment to - eee... wish could say till the end, but just stopped after fifteen minutes or so. Could not bear it any longer, sorry.

Were they improving a lot of their line?

Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful.

I hate the fact you guys don't watch Always Sunny more than you guys hate Charlie Day.😁
