Good hacks for getting rid of sharpie/permenant marker on whiteboards...

I am a teacher and since we can't use chalk anymore we have to use whiteboards and/or smartboards...

well here are a few good hacks for getting rid of sharpie or otherwise permanent marker marks on the whiteboards...

rubbing alcohol! you can either get it in the rubbing alcohol form or the hand sanitizer works well. you will need to use a lot and use a lot of paper towels but it gets the job done. get the 90 or 99% RA though, 70% doesn't work as well.

you can also use nailpolish remover with acetone, peroxide and for really stubborn stains... a paste of mostly baking soda mixed with the rubbing alcohol.

Dude... just write over it with a whiteboard marker and then rub it off. Simple as that...
