I always assumed Batman killed joker in this. But it appears everyone is saying that Batman didn't fully kill joker and that joker finished himself off. But I feel like batman basically killed him right? I mean, that was his intention after joker killed those people right?

Part of what has come to be the psychology of the Batman-Joker dynamic is that one can't, seemingly, live without the other. (Don't know if I would agree with that. But it is out there.) So we'll never know if Batman would have, in this instance, killed the Joker.
In fact, if I remember correctly, Joker did stop others from killing Batman, in an instant or two, exclaiming, "Batman is mines to kill." Or something to the same effect.
In fact, Joker did what Professor Zoom tried to do to Flash in the recent JL: Flashpoint Paradox movie released last year. (Just thought of that.) You'll have to watch that as well. ;-)
Okay, thanks for clearing that up. All this time, I had thought that Batman had killed the joker then but I didn't really think about it much after I saw it.

Batman fully intended that this would be the last time he fought Joker. But at the moment of truth, he couldn't bring himself to kill him, paralysing him by snapping his neck instead.
An opinion is not offensive just because you do not agree with it.
I believe that he intends to kill him. Snapping someones neck is just as likely to kill someone as it is to paralyze them... At least in fiction.

Was a bit silly that he killed himself in my opinion, unless it was his intention to "frame" batman as the couple saw him breaking joker's neck and the police would turn up to see the joker dead
i still dont understand how you could finish yourself off by turning your neck more lol surely he would barely be able to move his neck but im not a doctor lol
