Re: writer/director Jeremy Lovering

For all the reasons already stated all over this message board. Hope this tells the writer/director Jeremy Lovering that he needs to SERIOUSLY improve his skills.

I'd swear it was written by a 10yr old who didn't think a single thing through. It was an insult to all movie watchers and a total waste of time. Figure out how to write a movie, dude.

Oh, come on, that's kind of stretching it a little. I'd never heard of this flick until a friend of mine who watched it told me about it, and I thought I'd check it out since I haven't seen any recent British horror flicks. Plus I was already familiar with the lead actor from the film LOST RIVER and the TV series AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. I liked the first half of it, since it was genuinely scary after the couple kept going, but couldn't seem to find their way out---especially after dark, when things started looking even more creepier. The second half lost a little luster, but all in all, it kept me glued to the end, and it wasn't a slasher film or anything like that (thank goodness.) It was basically old-school scary, which was refreshing. It wasn't until the end credits that I recognized the main actress as having played in the BBC fantasy series JONATHAN STRANGE & MR. NORRELL. Other than that, this was a pretty decent horror flick. The crazy dude was a trip, though.
