The "moral panic" were right.
There I´ve said it.
I played D&D myself, and I would let my children play it as well, but there is always does who without parent supervision wants to play evil. To explore the "dark side".
"Moral panic" is a domination phrase that locks one in. To QUESTION if certain ideas or entertainment is healthy is in fact healthy.
Ive read, but not got confirmed that murder police reports before and after pornography was made legal changed. After porn was legalised murders became more brutal and sexually violent.
Either way, I am getting really tired of the "we can express anything except question expression".
I saw Human centipede and thought "What the hell is this?".
I think "moral panic", or more precise "parents who dont want their kids to get exposed to extreme and unhealthy nihilistic expressions", is healthy. Much of metal music is antichristian (satanic) and have expressions of violence etc. I think its fine that people in the 80s questioned that.
Oh, and although I havents seen this show, it seems to be anti-christian.
