I quite like this film.

I think it deserves more of a 60%-70% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. (Similar to Friends With Benefits, The DUFF.) I found myself laughing out loud at the "No, I'm saying the IMPLICATION of your penis is big," the part with the crazy brony ("You remind me of Applejack..."), and the snarky police officer ("What if I get arrested, then can I talk to her?" "Yup, that's how police stations work.").

I thought overall the dialogue was good and the actors had pretty damn good chemistry. I don't get all the hate on Analeigh or Miles either. Sure it doesn't deserve an Oscar in anything, but I thought it was just as good as Friends with Benefits or The DUFF, movies that got about twice the Rotten Tomatoes score.

Thoughts?

Yes I thought it was ok too. It was sweet. Why movies always have to try to be 100% original blockbusters get tiring. Why not see more of the same that makes us happy.

I could only stand a few minutes & even forwarded to the point where they are in bed in the morning (16 minutes).

 

Good movie. Every movie I like I see people slamming it and every movie I think is terrible I see people telling me why it is great. User Sarabjeet has a review on the main page that sums it up for me. I already texted a friend and told her to record and watch it.

I enjoyed it! It's not brilliant but it's an easy, fun watch. It's light hearted and sometimes that's what you want in a film.

I agree. The movie provided some good laughs. It also brought Miles Teller to my attention so I started exploring his work. He's very good in Spectacular Now and Whiplash (and I'd seen him in Rabbit Hole, just had no idea that he was still out there, working.) Nothing but win, from my perspective.
