How did a guy this ugly get a lead role in a movie?

He looks like a deformed grandmother. Does he have dirt on the director or something?

Anyway, terrible, terrible movie. I just produced a better movie into my toilet.

Well in my opinion the girl was equally unattractive, gigantic cat eyes, old woman haircut totally flat chest and her shoulders stuck out from her back she's so thin

Ugly? Geez that's the problem todays audience they expect everyone to be model like and perfect. I appreciated that these actors were not perfect. More believable.

Funny you say these people are not model like, because Analeigh Tipton actually started her career being a contestant on America's next top model and she kicked butts!

Sorry but you're wrong. Miles is going places. He is not the best looking (though by no means is he unattractive) but his delivery and charm are moving him forward. He makes me swoon.

Miles doesn't have a Brad Pitt face, but who does (except Brad Pitt)? Miles can look quite dashing when the occasion calls for it. I agree that his delivery and charm are stellar -- and I buy him as a romantic lead. Became a fan after watching Two Night Stand and loved him in The Spectacular Now too. I'm also a fan of who he seems to be as a person -- talks about his parents and grandparents with affection. Maintains good relationships with costars. Dates the same woman for the long term. Not sure why there's so much hate except that must just come with fame, period.

I'm assuming that you (and everyone else who says that Miles teller is ugly) are a guy. I (as a straight girl) love him! I would have agreed to marry the character after the scene with the oatmeal. I love his look and honestly could have watched the movie for another hour. Can't get enough of him!!

In the chat session at the beginning that led to them hooking up for the ONS, I thought he displayed a healthy dose of wit and confidence. Agreed, not the best-looking guy in the world, but it's believable that an average-looking guy can exude enough self-confidence to get a girl to sleep with him. Happens all the time.
