Watching it right now and saw the main character (Tom?) is taking Hypnocil. No a real drug. That's what they had in Freddy vs Jason and i think in the original Nightmare on Elm Street.

It was ANOES reference.

Though, it features a lot more in the third one than in the original. I'm not sure it was mentioned at all in the first one.
