Decent---Fairly typical of disaster flicks

I guess so many people thought the movie was so bad that nobody seems to realize they mispronounce Nevada all the way through the movie.

Really, everybody is critiquing this movie; its physics, science, acting, everything.

I don't really see the problem. Ya, the science is all wrong and the physics are. But that is the case in most movies. I don't really know any action movies where these things are even remotely correct and I certainly don't know any disaster movies that have anything even remotely correct.

I personally love action movies where the good guy wins against all odds. All action movies whether they seem "realistic" or not, aren't.

So just enjoy the show.

Everyone wants to show how smart they are...."Oh, the San Andreas can't produce an earthquake more than 8.3." I bet the only way most people knew that was to google it. lol :) Certain science people would, but most lay people wouldn't. I know that stuff about the tsunami's and some of the other things, but then again, I studied oceanography in college. Definitely not saying anything about anyone's intelligence. We just all tend to know stuff in our interests and a lot of people's interests aren't in seismology or plate tectonics.
