Not Horrible
It wasn't great, but an OK watch to pass the time.
What I don't understand is how Roy's spirit aged between this prequel and the first movie.
Jean also didn't looked 20 to me. So maybe they just age like they want.
I would say, the movie is OK for what it wants to be. A typical D2V Canadian production. RIPD 1 wanted to be the next MIB and thus failed massively, as even MIB wasn't able to do so. Nowadays it would be not tanking anymore, as Ryan Reynolds is finally established.
