Has anyone tried

I've re-watched the films out of sequence, but not backwards.

They seem to make sense to me already, anyhow. The timeline just jumps around a lot, sometimes annoyingly.

"Penfold, shush."

I watched 2 first. Then the first, third and fourth. I've never had any problem following the sequence of events.

No but I've thought about doing that before. I am hoping they'll start tying the series together explaining certain things like how Hunter being adopted came to be, who is Robbie?. what happened between part 3 and Part 1, etc. so it will make sense. I would love to see these questions answered before the series ends.
