Possible spoilers - Scenes that stood out...

For their poignancy, for the injustice to Lucas brought into sharp focus, for the outrage I felt:
- Lucas being forcefully thrown out of his best friends house, because he believes Klara wouldn't tell lie a like that
- Lucas being punched by the big oaf of a butcher and then ejected from the market by the other workers, who added a few thrown rocks at Lucas's head while he lay on the ground bleeding
- Lucas's young son being beat up by another big oaf of a bully, to the point of the huge man getting the son on the ground and continuing to beat him until dragged away by others
- Lucas giving the oaf butcher a head butt to the nose, probably breaking it based on the butchers moans and cries (I actually cheered at that scene)
- The killing of Lucas's dog. This whole scenario was so sad, from the first when he discovers the dog in a plastic bag, to his burial of the dog in the rain. You can see his sorrow in his frozen mask of grief to his wooden movements, digging in the saturated soil. His facial expression never changing from his look of anguish, especially when he rebuffs his best friend, telling him to leave, and continues to dig, too sad to be comforted.
