Anyone else get moist eyed....

It was so sad when Ceasar's wife Cornelia was dying of an infection and Malcom earned Ceasar's loyalty when he gave her antibiotics to cure her. She was on death's door and even after getting the antibiotics she was pretty weak for a while.

Near the end of the movie she was standing tall and proud, proud to be an ape in a patriotic sense the way I might be proud to be an American but also proud of her husband for defeating Koba and crushing his evil rebellion and proud of her son for helping save his father. Interesting that her nipples were visible. Seems genitalia is more "private" than breasts, as even with the human species a brief view of breasts can still keep a pg13 rating.

Anyway, she and her husband were both dying in this movie, her of an illness and him from an almost fatal gunshot wound, yet she fully recovered from her illness and he recovered enough from his gunshot wound to defeat the evil tyrant Koba and restore some semblance of order.

I wonder if that is a metaphor for the human race collectively coming very close to death (extinction which is death for a species) and maybe if Ceasar and his wife can recover from coming so close to death then maybe the human race can too? Or am I over thinking it?

If I remember correctly, Keri Russell saved Caesar and his wife, not Malcolm. She WAS a doctor.

How can you be proud to be an American while Obama is the president. This nation and the majority living here are a disgrace

What an idiot.

What? Where did that come from? Also, did you liked Bush better than Obama? If so, why?

There hasn't been a reason to be proud of being an American in quite some time, and at every single point in history, if you cannot find at least one reason to be ashamed of your country and its people, there is something wrong with you.

A little hard to be proud to be an American when Americans are sitting on stolen land to begin with, and tend to have the habit of acting like natives don't belong here, or that other "newcomers" are more of foreigners than Americans are, but we might be missing the topic at hand about creator's ape analogy, haha.

I always cry whenever I see Caesar back home and he's watching the video recording of him as a baby with Franco. Dammnit Michael! Ever since Lost, his music really gets to me haha.
