Good God is he dull. But then so is the movie. Perfect combination.

You got a bar fight out of him. What could his character in this situation really do that was so exiting? He was operating inside the bounds of conservative Japanese culture in a very awkward, tense situation. What was required of his conduct was poise, knowledge of local culture, discipline and he gave that.

Maybe you needed more explosions.

I agree about Fox, but I did enjoy the movie. I was disheartened when I realised he was appearing, he is a charisma free zone.

He showed more character in Lost. His acting was so wooden in this movie.

I think Fox is a good actor with the right material. In this case he was a little dull because the script was dull.
