The Trevor missions are like the Mexican missions in rdr

Finally started playing this game, and figured after the jewelry heist, it was starting to pick up. Then it comes to a crashing halt. The game devolves into a one man vs million man army, the scenery is bleak and uninteresting, the missions are all the same shooting gallery *beep* Before the trailer park shoot out, I went into this game with the goal to hit 100%. After wards, if the skip mission button appears, I hit it. Now I'm hearing the game never really picks up after this point, so I don't know if I should just quit playing or just skip all the way to the end. At least with red dead, there were a few good mission once you left Mexico.

Keep going, man. The game will have some bleak missions ahead. Like "By the Book". That mission will make all of Trevor's introductory missions look like a trip to Disneyland. Be prepared for that one.
But around "Fresh Meat", the game will pick up and start to feel like you're a bit more in control. Because by that point, Steve and Devin's grips start to ware off and the gang aren't entirely at odds.
Yes, there are many unpleasant situations in GTA 5, but that's to be expected.

With Trevor's missions, be sure to grab some armor. You can find one behind the Sandy Shores Medical Center. And, don't forget about Trevor's special ability.

Completed the story missions, it picked backed up after the desert missions, I just felt it was strange rockstar made the same mistake two games in a row. I also didn't like the linear shootouts, where if you deviated slightly off course, or didn't kill the ai in a particular order, the enemy would just keep respawning. But I got through it, and option c at the end is only way to complete the game and feel satisfied.
