Punisher
Feels like someone wrote a Punisher script that never made it to film and they changed it up with a few things and spun it into something "original." Anyone else see the similarities or feel the same way?
sharei like your comparison... but im feeling like Punisher is an ancient sort of thing, its a primeval nature of man. we can go back to the ancient stories like from ancient Greece and Ireland and Iceland and find similar themes. How far do you take revenge? When have you gone too far? What is justice?
well said. Something about the mafia, New York, burying your family and having your tombstone right next to them while you're still alive, living alone in a *beep* apartment with nothing but Ramen Noodles and Plastic explosives....reminded me of tropes that were unique to The Punisher
