disappointing ending

spoilers

The movie was pretty decent, good acting, interesting characters, nice setup.
I liked it.
Such a shame they decided to end it with a rather predictable and average shoot out.
The hero has to go save the girl... seriously?
How original...
So we run into the baddies HQ, lots of shooting, blablabla, the end.

Such a shame.
I think that with a little bit of imagination they could have given it a much better ending, perhaps one that wasn't even very happy.

Complaining about mistakes is almost as bad as complaining about complaining about mistakes.

Oh, how about this for a ending: Let's have the hero come for the girl, baddies kill the girl and the hero, that's really a good ending!!

Way too many heavy handed scenes in this movie;

the kids yelling "monster" at Noomi and throwing things when she has such delicate scarring that could almost be a tribal tattoo not even across her features but the temple.

the focus of Noomi's revenge not only got a light sentence but we see him at a bar he drinks at "every night" grope some Noomi look-a-like girl before drunkenly dropping his keys ready to ride the road again just in case the audience is in any doubt he needs a little vigilante justice.

always with the rewatching of the video of the dead family at a happy event cliché.

staring kid in chinese restaurant.

heart to heart with henchman (conveniently not guilty of crime that spurred revenge) and his constant overzealousness shared with his "buddy".

finally the hero ending who kills all despite telling them he's coming to their meeting place and defeats them all (he's the only one with explosive devices and a vest) the convenient mirror so "buddy" knows Colin had the drop on him. Then there was what I call Noomi's Gambit that resulted in villains shooting each other in the head simultaneously. NUFF SAID
