Most preposterous plot ever!
Beautiful girl has a few scars and wants to kill the guy because of it? And sh's still ridiculously pretty and kids are throwing rocks at her and calling her a monster?! Oh please. If that's what they were going for they should have turned her into Quasimodo - but then there'd be no love angle, right? Tired and predictable.
It really was just an awful, cliched story, which is too bad because it was well acted all around and technically it was solid too with nice cinematography and editing. With a better story it would have been a classic.
