in the end when he his face to face with his friend, the guy asks him why didnt you kill me is it cause i have a wife and kid.

what does victor he say to him?

"No, I didn't kill you 'cause they've got you."

He said "I've got you" not "they've".

Are you 100% sure? It really sounded like "I've" to me and it makes sense in that they were such good friends.
