Do Americans ever shut their curtains!
Watching the first 20 minutes of this film brought to mind one of the many oddities of American life apparent in film and TV. At night in the US no one EVER shuts their curtains! Beatrice would never have seen Victor kill that guy, in fact they would have never met as they would not have seen other in opposite lit rooms and she could not have been able to show him the drunk driver at his window.
Tell me this is just a hackneyed plot device and in the US they have more modesty than shown on the big and small screen ;->
