Yeah, kids can turn into an ugly, bullying mob if they find someone who is somehow weaker than they. Those kids certainly deserved SOME punisment for being so mean to Beatrice.

ha ha... was wondering about it myself after watching the movie. Some "Karate Kid" style instant justice for mean and spoilt kids would have been awesome

Agreed. This was actually a very good movie but it had some issues.

Mainly the darkly-lit cinematography, the sudden and too cozy ending and a lack of comeuppance towards the horrible kids that called Beatrice a monster because of her disfigurement.

I at least least wanted to see Beatrice stand up for herself against those horrible brats.

Even the main character in "Disturbia" got revenge over the little kids that were taking advantage of his house arrest.
