Good movie...until the end

It pretty much has the same ending as Road House, lol. Not that's a bad thing, but this was a high caliber movie, then it wimps out with the over-the-top ending.

I'm so tired of ultra violence. After the millionth bullet has been fired they sort of lose any sense of menace.

What he obviously meant is : the movie was clever and subtle till the end, when Lazlo went John MacLane on 20 guys and killed them all with machine guns and grenades (which is pretty violent whether you like it or not).
The fact that violence in the movie is bearable does not change the fact the movie swaped from subtle to gun fights.

And saying the movie "wasn't violent at all" makes you either a liar or someone so desentizised (I have no problem with that) he could not even realise the violence in it.

And calling him stupid when he didn't call you name... well let's not even get started on that.

Completely agree. I loved the movie until the final 15 mins which felt rushed and unimaginative. I had it about a 7.5 then dropped to about 6.8/10 in my book.

Agreed. Should've ended with everyone going to the warehouse and he blowing it up. Killing himself too. I wish the friend with the baby realised afterward who he was, and realising he's a good guy who was just mourning his family, and that he saved his life by telling him to go to his apartment. And the girl left crying yet happy in the end that the drunkdriver didn't die because revenge won't heal her scars. The ending was too over the top and the romantic part was awful, should not have existed. They had no chemistry at all and she was just annoying. Unbelievable.

I definitely agree. I really liked the in depth look at revenge and when he didnt kill the guy she wanted him to i thought that was pretty solid. Then it just turns into a shoot em up at the end. It really made no sense with the rest of the movie. Its like they didnt really know how to end it. I have no problem if they ended up together romatically because they are both broken people so at least on that level it makes sense. I gave it 5/10 since the end brought it down a couple of notches in my book
