A Top Notch Korean Gangster Flick
Did anyone else think the writer must have been influenced by S Korean gangster movies? The slow burn, the machinations, themes of loyalty and revenge with an enormous spasm of violence to cap it all off?
The only thing missing was that basically no good guys died during the course of the film. I was expecting the father-in-law to get whacked before Alfonse figured out that Lazslo wasn't really dead.
