Worst movie i saw this year

I cant believe that this movie got 6.5, its so unrealistic and an absolutely cliche.

First, those kids calling monster to a beautiful woman (we barely see the scars in her face, she still looks beautiful), and throwing rocks, i cant believe that kind of thing could really happen. A woman with a few scratches on her face is treated and acts like the Elephant Man.

Second, she saw victor killing a guy, so she decides she wants to know him better to ask him to kill the man responsible for the accident that disfigured her face - LOL

Third, the "love story", no story at all... but still better than Twilight.

Fourth, the moment when Darcy goes to Victors house and knock only one time the door, and only 5 seconds later he decides to break the door down, to see if everything was alright. Victor wasnt at home, but even if he was, he had no time to open the door before his friend breaks everything.

Fifth, all the schemes that Victor had, and in the end, its all about one man killing a whole gang to save the girl... that makes all the plans (that he had in the beginning) pointless.

Sixth, the whole movie is about a man that infiltrates a gang to get revenge for the muder of his wife and daughter, an absolutely cliche.

"This movie was all style and no substance.
The script was sloppy with pointless scenes, plot lines to nowhere and just plain lazy."

So many other things i could said, but this movie doesn't even deserve my time to make it look bad.

Sorry for my english.

wow you do not know how to watch a film do you?

1. Kids calling her a monster was repersenting how insercure she is about her face adding onto the reason why she would want someone killed for it. Yes the scars are minor but its still believable that kids would act that way maybe not calling her a monster but refering her to two face from batman or being mean like that.

2. She saw Victor kill a guy so obviously she doesnt have the guts to kill the guy she wanted dead so bad or the money to hire a hitman so she saw her niegbor kill someone she obviously never handled something like this before so blackmailing him she believed would work. Who knows if she had feelings for him when she saw him kill a guy. She obviously tricked him and lied to him to get what she wanted from a cold blooded killer only when she met him face to face she saw he had heart and she fell for him.

3. Love can happen different ways.

4. Like Darcy said he was worried about him. With all the stuff going on with people from the crew being killed like Paul in the freezer the Darcy obviously cared about Victor and was making sure he was not killed also.

5. Yes but he never counted on a random girl getting involved in his stuff changing his plans.

6. I agree but but its rarly done right and this film was done right.

I don't find problem with this movie, and I enjoy it somehow. But about 5th complaint, he get a point there.

Because killing/handling whole gangters group is so difficult to almost impossible to him, then he's to setup a plan to revenge. It's very important to him to stick with his plan and do every steps to complete it accurately. Now, suddenly, he got someone messed up his plan so bad. And plan is the trash at the end. And now, he suddenly be able to handling the situation all by himself. He can kill off all of gangs easily like that by himself?!! If he has got that skills, why bother created and follow plan? If the death of his wife, children didn't make him be able do all of this, then why the new girl could (it simply out of his ability, otherwise he already done all job years ago)??... That's the point original poster try to make.

He devised the elaborate plan as he wanted to be sure of killing alphonse and the albanians. This was his way of getting them to kill each other and if not that the in the same place so he could blow them up. He also wanted to make them suffer - keep them on edge and nervous. He didn't want them to die easily. (Yes blowing them up was easy but they would spend their last days in fear and paranoia)

The woman was a variable he had not anticipated. They both felt alone and came together through a shared sense of grief for what was taken from them (him his wife and daughter and her looks).

When she was taken he stopped caring about the plan and just wanted to save her.
Why didn't he do that sooner? Apart from the fact that there would be no story he would have had to come up with a way of getting them all together - if he attacked one group then it would alert the others (a good chance of that happening).

The movie tries to explain this with the quote by Gregor (Victor's father-in-law) about "Now I know why you're waiting...", etc. Gregor says he suspects that Victor is worried that if/when Victor finally gets his revenge, it won't be enough and he'll still be just as miserable.

The other excuse is that Victor apparently decided that he wanted to get Alphonse's gang and "the Albanians" all in one big blaze of glory.

It's kind of a lame excuse tho for drawing things out, so point to nnq.

The guy is definitely the worst engineer ever. There is no need for theatrical plans and a ton of military hardware to slaughter a few guys. Maybe if the gang he infiltrated was the White house, that would have been a movie

Since they were neighborhood kids, more than likely they've been calling her that for some time now, back when she really was scarred and disfigured.

the story was very good and so was the movie . a full 10 from me

I agree with you on the story line. The beautiful woman wanted Victor to kill the man who gave her the scars Yet she shows through out the film that she is not afraid. During the ending fight, she looked ready to kick ass. So, why didnt she go to the drunk who gave her the scars and beat the crap out of him.

Also, the violence that went thru the film, shootings in broad daylight, we only see a few police cars, whats up they were on holiday.

Story could have been better
