This is a perfect example of a modern trend
People rethink cliches about revenge plots, cop films and other thrillers, and create movies that are atmospheric, have interesting characters and outstanding performances, build intriguing stories...
... and then turn into cheap Hollywood action films in the third act.
This movie had a couple of misfires - the rats (what was that about?), the comical appearance of the FedEx guy, etc. But really it held up as an excellent dramatic thriller right up until stupid actions sequence has to ruin an otherwise perfectly good film.
I can only rate this 6/10 despite the fact it has a lot to recommend it, because the ending is so weak.
