do you think drunk drivers should be assassinated?

personally, i mean, if Obama started sending drones to take out DUIs along with al-qaeda, i wouldn't really mind. people who drive drunk actually kill more innocents than terrorists do.

ok actually i would mind. which is why i found this movie so fascinating. because even if we are not going to black mail assassins we still identify with Noomi Rapace's character. her desire for revenge. her anger at the injustice of the world.

In this case the focus of Noomi's revenge not only got a light sentence but we see him at a bar he apparently drinks at "every night" trying to grope some Noomi look-a-like girl before drunkenly dropping his keys ready to ride the road again posing danger to the public, just in case the audience is in any doubt he needs a little vigilante justice (maybe they should of had him just miss hitting a bus full of nuns or kindergarten kids as well). I mean he ain't exactly guilt wrecked like Bale in the Mechanic or anything.

Damn near every human being over 30 has driven an automobile with at least 2 beers in them. (FYI, 2 beers is usually enough to put you over the legal limit).

I thought the DUI subplot was stupid.

Really if that is true, the then "damn near every human being over 30" is a "bloody idiot".

I liked the DUI subplot. If drink drivers kill someone they should be charged with murder. If drink drivers seriously hurt someone they should be charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. If you get behind the wheel of a vehicle when you are drunk, you can NOT say you were unaware of the dangerous risk you pose to other people. So imo people who drink, then drive and then cause an accident are acting with premeditation.

I agree. But I think DUI as a crime should be abolished as well. Just look at the consequences itself, rather than DUI as a proxy.

After all, some people handle alcohol very well and are very capable drinking while drunk.

We should have the death penalty for even the most minor infractions! Nothing says obey the law like the death penalty for everything!

Yeah! In fact, there should be spears that shoot out of the steering wheel during any accident, instead of air bags. Nothing says obey the law like impalement devices shooting at you.
