just got back from watching, and i was really impressed! not being a huge Shakespeare fan, i went mainly for joss and his actors. took a while to get used to the language, but eventually it gets easy to understand, and fun today watch all the verbal sparring. very entertaining and fun overall... was worried i would see fred and wesley, or say, mal, rather than the characters their playing here, but that wasn't the case. amy acker especially delivered, as did most of the cast... 8.5/10!

Same here. Honestly, this movie dragged me as a Marvel fan to the world of Shakespeare and I'd like to thank Joss for it. It's wonderful.

Shakespeare seemed like a chore in High School but as an adult, I have better appreciation and sensibilities now.

I've just got back from the watching the film and am happy to report, as both a Shakespeare and Wheedonverse fan, this is a happy marriage. I think this is a good, unflashy telling of the story with a talented cast producing a really enjoyable version.
