make it last 90 minutes

OK, I think the general consensus is that this film had a good concept and a terrible (and annoying) execution.
So put on your thinking caps kids and tell us how you would have made this an INTELLIGENT film.

A more rural setting (less witnesses, less police access, no neighbors)

Poor phone service. Yes, it's cliche to lose the connection, but in a more rural setting, it's feasible. Or a drained phone battery would work)

Less screaming and fighting. Once they all agree that it's the Amber Alert car and that there's a kid inside, their mission should be clear and the conflict should be between hunter and hunted- not between the bitch-hunter and pussy-hunter.
