ATTN: fast forward to the end!!!

Ok, i did like the movie, so I want to try and get it a few extra stars AND save the sanity of some viewers......once the arguing gets to you, fast forward to the last 20 min. You really won't miss much that adds to the value of the overall movie ( although I enjoyed both the confrontation with the kidnapper and the officer pulling them off the road). I would say if you can make it to the gas station scene, that's about all you really need to know to understand the last 20 minutes.

The last 20 min. at least, imo, "make" the movie and give you enough suspense to overlook the annoying. I think the concept WAS really good, especially when compared to a lot of the other "single camera, documentary style" movies that have swarmed up in the genre lately.

The film needed the length. They just had to find a better way to fill the time than screaming and crying at each other- preferably with more suspenseful and gut-wrenching dramatics.

At one point, on an old secluded road, the kidnapper could easily have stopped his car, gotten the girl out and told them he was going to kill her right there if they didn't turn around and go away. That would create a great 5-10 minute scene filled withdrama, fear and conflict, further justifying our heroes' conflicts and sense of helplessness.

Just little things like that which would raise the bar and keep it less like Blair Witch and more like its own entity.

My "#3" key is broken so I'm putting one here so i can cut & paste with it.

Why fast forward to the end, just read the intro to the film, pretty closely lifted strait from that crappy movie The Blair Which Project, I knew what would happen just from that.

"Do you mind if I name my first child after you? "Dipsh*t Knight" has a nice ring to it."
