Cool concept. Terrible execution.
Just watched it on Netflix. Thought the synopsis sounded cool. Gave it a shot and was a little disappointed that it was a found footage movie but still gave it a shot. And....wow. Once the two "bestest friends in the whole wide world started to YELL at eachother non stop for no reason at the very beginning I knew I was in trouble. Hated both of them. But I figured it was a low budget flick and maybe the cool concept would keep the movie going...but alas dumb f u.c.king characters continue to make dumb decisions and dumb *beep* happens. Lack of police involvement made zero sense, why put out the Amber Alert and then DO NOTHING when you've got confirmation of the vehicles location? Made the purpose of the alert pointless. Cops would've been all over that car. Ending...what the *beep* was that about? Just gunna break into dudes house? Not gunna go knock on the neighbors door? Get help from them. Not gunna grab one of those loaded guns on the counter? Just gunna get shot in the face? Oh okay....and then you're gunna end the movie by saying the Amber Alert has saved blah blah blah kids....yeah you pretty much s h.it on law enforcement in the movie and made the damn system seem like it didn't work...good job....oh and your gunna have your two terrible leads talk for five minutes?...nah I'm good. Should've established some character development throughout the movie. One star for good concept. One star cause the main chick was kinda sexy. That's about it....oh and spoiler alert.
