As found footage films go...
This is one of the better I've seen in recent years. I'm honestly confused about the low rating. Yeah, it might not have been the most realistic of scenarios, but since when does that make a bad movie? Common every day occurrences don't make very good movies. It's the rare and unexpected moments that do. And there's probably a lot of you saying that the main characters had a complete lack of common sense that would've prevented the whole thing, like slashing his tire at the gas station or giving his cell phone number to the police so they could try and trace him, or at the very least, contacted his carrier to get his name and address... But what kind of movie would that have been? Pretty damn boring. I thought this was a pretty intense, interesting use of the found footage format... And a hell of a lot better than 95% of what it's being used for these days.
