This made me create an imdb account just to give this "thing" a review.

My god, where do I begin. I'm writing this with 20 minutes left to the movie praying that the protagonists die along with the predator. First off, The plot; wonderful opportunity that was completely shat on. The took this idea and gave the parts to either highly capable actors and actress who did a smashing job of playing worthless idiots who only by the mercy of the writers/producers survive almost two hours or; these actors/actress never need to to do anything more with a camera than pose for a picture and even that might be pushing it. The girl; am I the only one who wanted to slap the treble out of that woman? Horrible example of a female lead. She was filled with idiotic ramblings that she screamed everyb3 minutes. the guy; weak, spineless, and just plain stupid. You know what to do, you are driving yet you still behave like a bafoon. I honestly had some hope for the poor friend zoned fella when he took charge and pulled over to get food but alas that hope was short lived. I had hoped that he would find his moment of brilliance when he yelled "I'm sure all these guns are loaded" but no. He didn't reach for a single one. And God bless the little brother filming everything that does due to his stupid sister. The kid did a great job of playing a scared kid. The predator was a convincing predator. The cop was even a convincing cop. Was it just too much effort to the THE FREAKING MAIN CHARACTERS at least semi decent and somewhat intelligent humans !?? I know I know this is supposed to seem real and you never know what to do until you get in that situation and blah blah blah but really though!? Really? Sigh, I have never in 20 years reviewed a movie. This movie have me a sour taste for this entire genre of "home movie/found footage". And thank god I've finally finished the movie now. Not so spoiler alert here. The bad guy dies and thankfully so does the bad acting. Yay. Don't waste your life watching this. Also, one more thing, please someone, rename this movie what not to do when you see an Amber alert.

Excellent point-of-view thriller, easily the best one since Blair Witch Project. You're way off ...
