If you think USS Callister had a happy ending, think again...

There will obviously be an investigation into Robert Daly's death, and Nanette was probably seen on camera sneaking into his house. They will probably find out that Nanette switched out Daly's disk with a dud, and might determine that the disk she replaced killed Daly. Nanette will likely be found guilty, and you know how the punishments in this society goes (White Bear).
But hey, at least her digital clone will be able to explore infinite procedurally generated worlds...

Okay if you say so...

Well say you're right and Nanette gets charged. Good thing for her is that her digital clone would definitely hear about it and probably reach out to the authorities and let him know what Daly was doing and how he died. Stealing DNA, creating digital clones, and torturing them has got to break some sort of law in that society.

-Taking into account that each Black Mirror episode is part of a shared universe, this depends on which part of the timeline takes place in.
In Black Museum, it's established that "cookies" were eventually given universal rights, thus making Daley's actions criminal. However, if USS Callister is set before this new law came through (like during White Christmas and the "Monkey Loves You" segment in Black Museum), then the cookies would be seen simply as digital code that can be toyed with to any extent without legal consequences.

Daly wasn't murdered. The investigation would be an autopsy
