What do you think happened to Lacey in Nosedive after?

She's hit rock bottom, so she likely will go UP from there, and realize she's free. I took her expression to be understanding that she was.

Maybe she would do a short spell in prison, but serve the second half of her sentence in some sort of half-way house where she would be able to go out during the day to do some kind of community work in a controlled environment that would allow her to build her rating up again slowly, but not allowed to rate others. Then she would be free and allowed to go her own way. Maybe then she could train for some kind of manual trade where being popular doesn't matter so much.

Well, after serving time in prison, I assume she went back to live with her brother. Which would be pretty weird, seeing that her brother would actually have a higher score than her. But as in for her overall life, I assume she would end up sort of like that female truck driver. Feeling bitter towards the society she lived in and not caring about her score anymore.

She definitely started seeing the other guy across from her at the jail cell. Probably lost her job and moved in with her parents.

It could go 2 ways. Either she embraces freedom like the truck driver or she is doomed to eternal suffering like in The Age of Innocence.
