Or possibly the whole episode?
They weren't real, correct? But the last scene at the club was really them? If so, what did we see during the whole show. How do you explain all the relationships.
Ok, I'm going to attempt to explain this as I understood it.
The two people (the ones we see at the very end in the club) are matched together using one of those dating apps. They are real.
Anything before the very end was a computer program running different variations of their potential relationship in order to make a good match. In 998 out of a 1000 run-throughs of their relationship the "app people" chose to run away and brake from the System, meaning they'd be pretty much perfect for eachother.
It was all so that the comuter can calculate if Amy and Frank would be a good match in real life basically. Them at the club was the first time they'd actually meet, after the app has matched them together based on those 1000 simulations.
I know I used match a whole lot, but I hope this clears things up at least a little :)
This is all correct. You can rewatch the end and catch everything. The important part is that in th simulations they fought the system and rebelled TO STAY TOGETHER against the odds, proving they had a great shot at a relation ship.
Keep in mind those simulations could have all happened in one minute or a second depending on the computer power. And the coach probably worked nothing like the simulated ones.
