Gabe + Sofia's Apartment

When and why did the girls' apt get remodeled? I have been watching the reruns and new episodes. It finally caught my eye.... In season 2, episode "Young and Unemployed", Sofia walks in and you can clearly see the refrigerator and kitchen area in the back right corner. Behind the wall book shelf behind the apt entry door. Then I watch an episode from season 3, "Young and Therapy" I think.... Anyway, Gabi is on the couch, Sofia comes out of the bedroom, and the kitchen area and fridge are to the left side of the screen and moved up closer to the couch. I can see adding a dining table behind the could & moving the bar/table thing - but the fridge and kitchen along the wall? Did they move into that dead old lady's apt, did I miss that? If not, how is the flip flop justified? By the way the "Young & Moving" was season 2 ep 6, the unemployed was 2-13, so if they moved - when? Thx for any help.

They didn't move, I don't remember what episode it was but Sofia mentioned that te apartment was remodels and the kitchen was on the other side of the apartment.

Haha I didn't know if anyone else noticed this, too. I saw the change and was equally confused. So, I skimmed through every episode and found the remodel was in S03E01 - Young & The Next Day. While Gabi was still at Coachella, Sofia tells her on the phone that Demetri was remodeling Yolanda's apartment (now next to Gabi/Sofia's), and the old appliances no longer fit in her kitchen, so she gave them to the girls.

Speaking of the set, did anyone ever notice on the previous bookshelf on the left side (where the kitchen is now) a Flash MX book? That always bothered me a bit, because neither of the girls are in the tech industry. Now, I suppose one could argue that maybe Cooper left it there. But he was hardly around that long, and was always in China or something or other. I don't know, just thought it was a weird thing to have there. It'd be more fitting in Josh's condo.

True that Cooper wasn't there long, but he was living there and would have suddenly moved out after everything happened. It would be easy to leave stuff behind at that point.
