Great cast, mediocre story
An excessive amount of it is devoted to his dysfunctional relationship with his ex-girlfriend and daughter. I also tired of having Jobs's dismissive attitude toward the Apple II team repeatedly addressed. Once was enough.
Why so little about Apple's formative years? Why nothing about his actual family (Perhaps they wished it so.) or the rare but treatable pancreatic cancer that he likely allowed to kill him by using only naturopathic methods? Why nothing about Pixar? (Perhaps legally impossible) This movie barely scratched the surface of an extraordinary life.
Fassbender is great as usual and Winslet and Daniels keep up with him most of the time. Even Seth Rogen has a watchable role for a change. Sad that the story wasn't worthy of them.
My people skills are fine. It's my tolerance of morons that needs work.
