Relation to 'Tokyo!'?

I recently saw a picture from this movie and it appeared to have the character "Merde" from Leos Carax's portion of the movie "Tokyo!". I looked up the actor and it says he is playing Celine. Anyone know if this movie gives insight to the character at all?

Merde is one of Celine's many personas.
