I am supposed to be watching this film on Sunday night with my girlfriend. Would anybody who has seen it, and without giving any big spoilers, be able to tell me if there are any violent or distressing scenes. She's a sensitive girl bless her.

This is what they have on IMDB under violence.
A man is stabbed in the neck. Blood spurts out.
A man is shot in the head. Very brief.
A man is shot many times across his body. His body is seen to be quite bloody.
We see the aftermath of a suicide with two bodies lying in a pool of blood on the ground.
A woman's fingers are bitten off, though it is off screen and we only see blood in the biter's mouth.

I just remember it was on screen cuz she was waving her hand in front of him for a while and he just grabbed it and bit it. The violence though wasn't very much overall. Some blood here and there but not graphic violence every 10 minutes.
